Wedding in the Heart of Downtown LA? So in.
This particular day took place at the beautiful and historic Los Angeles Athletic Club, which opened doors in downtown in 1912. Its rich in Beaux-Arts style and was the first building in downtown Los Angeles to have an indoor swimming pool built on an upper floor. Notable members include Charlie Champlin, L. Frank Baum and Rudolph Valentino.
Our couple did a ceremony in the Olympic Lounge and the reception followed in the gorgeous Centennial Ballroom. Bridesmaids were in matching green each with a unique wrap or tie around and the groomsmen were snazzy in grey. The bride was in a gorgeous silk white with light gems and stones. Groom sported a black coat with matching black tie. We did bridal party shots on the rooftop with dramatic views of downtown and then moved down to Broadway for some more fun. This was also our first Nigerian Wedding which was such a treat to shoot. The colors of makeup and outfits of the guests were mesmerizing. Our favorite was the blessing dance, making it rain on the couple for their new life. Lots of dancing! Such happiness and such a beautiful day.
We shoot weddings in Southern and Northern California and all over. More information lives here!
