This wedding took place in the very hidden away church at Fallen Leaf Lake and the reception followed in the general store of the hidden town.
Ava and Ross met at the town general store where the groom was the actually the brides boss. Two of their witnesses worked with them at the store as well. Fallen Leaf Lake was a personal and perfect choice to have as the backdrop for their day. Their first look took place on her grandmothers cabins dock overlooking the entire lake.
One of the bridesmaids made the wedding cake at the cabin they rented to get ready and topped it with two pinecones they found on a hike in the area. Table pieces were handmade by the groom from a tree he cut. The bride painted the numbers and all the wooden signs. Extra table decorations were homemade and the flowers on the centerpieces were self-arranged. The couples general decorating plan was to find things outside and bring them inside.Fallen Leaf Lake is where the brides grandmother spent her summers on her familys cabin since she was 5, she’s 93 now. Their reception took place at the old community store that has now been converted to a meeting space for community events.
This couple was so sweet! Capturing their first look was such a precious moment and we were thrilled to be able to share this beautiful day with them.
Congratulations Ava and Ross!
