Matt & Constance met in Hong Kong through their best friends on a rooftop party. They bonded on bizarre food and traveling. Flash forward to a few years later having all of their family members and relatives coming from across the world to meet for their wedding day in Livermore, California.
Constance wanted to focus on capturing moments. Their main focus was enjoying their time with their dear guests.
They chose the family owned Wente Vineyard to host their day. The ceremony took place on the terrace gardens as did the reception and dancing.
Constance blended Western and her Chinese culture into her day. She had two dresses, pairs of shoes and jewelry- one is never enough anyway, am I right? The girls got ready in their matching kimono robes and were dressed in navy blue for the evening. All the ladies had bouquet made of Calla Lillies which were simple and so elegant. The guys kept with the navy color in their sport coats and Matt wore gray with a navy tie and accents.
The ceremony was officiated by their friend as they said their vows in between two wine barrels decorated with hydrangeas.
Dinner area was posh and decorated with chinese landmarks for table numbers. There was a tea ceremony before dinner that gave respect to Matt and Constance’s parents. Constance dressed in traditional red for good luck and fortune.
Cake for four-tiered white with darling gold accent ribbon around each layer.
Dancing was what the night was all about. Everyone was up and on the dance floor- for hours! It was great fun and we were so greatly honored to be part of it.
