We loved this wedding. It was our first time shooting up in Squaw Valley. Driving up was a dream with the endless mountains and riverbeds. Set the mood for a gorgeous day. Jackie got ready up in one of the suites at Plumpjacks with her mother, sisters and niece and nephew – who made the cutest flower girl/ring bearer combination we have seen! The bouquet was a total dream, filled with traditional and eclectic buds. Pinks and whites filled the morning and continued into the reception. Loved the emotional moment with her mom and dad, who celebrated their own 33rd wedding anniversary on this day. Due to weather (even in May!), the ceremony took place upstairs in the Mountain Room with reception to follow in the Valley Room.
The wedding party was a blast, proof in their photos. We love when groups get creative and bring their own ideas to the table. That’s what these guys did and what fun! For some portraits we took the newlyweds around the grounds, around the Olympic Park just a little bit and the Plumpjacks entrance.
Decorations had a rustic feel with a fresh spin. Everyone got to take home succulents and stimulus wine glasses. Dancing and drinks were aplenty. Emotional dances with the bride and her father, and with her father and her sister, maid of honor. The couple chose a Lavander grand-farewell which smelled just lovely 🙂
